This site started as an informational site for the former Thursday Night Men's Topic Meeting that met in Centerville OH from 2009-2025. It is now an Al-anon directory site serving internationally.
The topics and venue of most men's meetings are geared toward supporting men seeking a safe place to share their experiences, strengths and hopes as they work the 12 Steps. However, these groups are also open to ALL friends and families of alcoholics, regardless of gender or orientation. Many meetings have had, in fact, some women attend and listen to men's perspectives in recovery.
By the way, there is no membership to Al-Anon. No dues nor fees. There is no registration to attend these meetings. You don't even have to share your full name during introductions. Your anonymity is protected at all times.
All meetings are self supporting, and are not sponsored by any church or institution. Groups accept donations to help cover the cost of renting meeting rooms and funding ZOOM service subscriptions for online meetings. Donations are not required to attend these meetings.
